Seventeen years of village-led forestry: replanting bare slopes, keeping grazing land alive, holding back erosion, and teaching the young the old duty of care for the land.

Reforestation & Native Species

Black pine, beech and oak planting on slopes stripped by illegal cutting, grown in our own village nursery.

Sustainable Communal Grazing

Rotational grazing plans agreed household by household, so pasture recovers between seasons.

Soil & Watershed Protection

Check dams, terracing and gully repair that keep topsoil on the hillside and streams clean below.

Youth Environmental Education

School field days and volunteer training that pass forest knowledge to the next generation.

Seasonal field calendar
